Al and All,
Kevin Burke and myself heard him calling Goldenhawk here
at my location on 273.800 and were wondering who PASSBOOK was.
I can't recall hearing that callsign around here before. Thanks for
the ID of a P-3C. Is that based at Brunswick? It's so hard to tell
sometimes.
The P-3s at Brunswick use many callsigns often during the same flight.
The other day I was up near the base and I heard a flight use three callsigns.
He was using THUMPER during his excercise and switched to TIGER
and then he was going to leave the exercise and had to ask Goldenhawk if he
was going to keep TIGER or go back to BRAVO KILO ###. I guess as their
mission changes during flight, they have to change their callsigns??
