Hello Hello Mark & the Group:

One thing I regrettably forgot to stated in my message is HARDY WELCOME/BEST
WISHES to Tom Swisher
in his quest to provide a recurring column to improve "Pop'Comm's" hobby
monitoring coverage. As with most new columnists (new columns), Tom is of
course starting off with what he knows best about milcom in his local area.
Unfortuately, Pop'Comm has failed to update their webpage (see:
http://www.popular-communications.com/staffemail1202.html) contact email
addresses for many of their columnists including Tom S. as well as Steve
Douglass (who has been a columnist for over 1 year).... Most columnists need
input from "sources" / actively monitoring hobbyists throughout the country
in order to provide a geographically well rounded recurring column
presentation, so IMHO an easy way of providing input should always be
readily acessible at the publisher's website.

As a contrast "Monitoring Times" magazine does provide an up to date listing
(see: http://www.monitoringtimes.com/html/contact_us.html#Columnists)
however, it's strange because only some of the columnists are actually
hotkeyed on the website so you can send them a message immediately (the
others you will have to past the address in) as well as a hotkey to the
columnists' individual websites if applicable. I think MT uses a proxy mail
server where all of the columnist have @monitortimes.com addresses but the
actual email addresses are actually different.

Again best of luck to Tom in his new column!!!
