[MilCom] RS Pro 97 On Sale Again

Just as a caution .....

I love my PRO97, but it just came back from a 3 week
stay at RadioShack's Pennsylvania scanner hospital.

Seems the antenna mount wasn't secure as it should be,
as were some internal connections from it to the
circuit board.

I bought it on sale last November and noticed that the
mount piveted a wee bit whenever I connected an
antenna.  It got worse .... and no, I wasn't abusing
it.  RadioShack made all repairs under warranty at no
charge.

So, if you due purchase one, make sure the connecter
is sitting solidly in one place.  Unfortunately, you
won't be able to tell until you take it out of the
bubble packaging.  So, you might want to inspect it
before you leave the store.
