I got one as an XMAS gift, and it is a nice scanner. However I was a bit
surprised that I have been unable to find a document on the web describing the
command set for it's computer interface. I know that there are some programs
out there that you can buy, but I prefer to use programs I've written myself
that do just what I want and only what I want. For other scanners I have,
like the Uniden/BC's I've found nice documents describing the command sets,
but for the Pro 97, I haven't been able to find this info. I know I could
reverse engineer these things to find what many of the commands are, but it
seems like surely this info exists somewhere. Does anyone know where to get
the CAT protocol for this receiver?
