Well "Monitoring Times" magazine provides the following "information you can
readily use" in their March 2006 edition

"Monitoring Military Flight Demonstration Groups, MT's Annual Air Show
Guide" (feature article):
* 3 pages covering EVERY US/Canada military demo teams' potential
frequencies
*approx 30 civilian demo teams & 21 foreign Militry flight demo teams
*Potential "common" ground support frequencies.
*Suggestions for looking for new frequencies
*Some small "fill in pictures" (guess he wanted to fill in the column with
frequency information rather than large fill up the pages pictures)
I've always found this guide to be very useful for the upcoming show season
to focus on these highly probable frequencies to monitor to thoroughly enjoy
your "on scene" airshow experience.

"Milcom -- Monitoring Military Communications (monthly column, 2 pages)
"Monitoring Military Flight Demo Groups Equipment & Schedules"
*Basically emphasis is placed on current model scanners (handheld,
mobile/base, computer hosted receives) that have the capabilities to monitor
the full range of milcom/milair activity (e.g. capability to not only
monitor aero 225-400 am UHF band but also 138-150.8 mhz change mode to AM).
*Additionally a consolidated by date airshow schedule indicating major
performers Navy Blue Angels, Army Black Daggers, Candadian Forces CF 18
Hornet Demo Team (the paint job on these birds is awsome!!!), ACCC F15 West
Coast Demo Team, Viper West F16 Demo Team, Army Golden Knights, Canadian
Snowbires, Army Silver Wings, AF Thunderbirds.
