Good job on this post!!! Keep it coming, because with many places no
longer
having airshows the opportunities for many of us are fewer so we have to
make
the most of what there is.

Bruce et al,
Get ready for the Heritage Flight Conference at DMAFB !!!
This years qualifications will include the F-22A!!!
According to the Desert Airman, the base newspaper, they will host
eveything from "P-40 to P-47s to P-51s, up to and including the F-15E and
F-22A this years." You've already see the F-4's. I drove on base and
verified 4 F-16's from Shaw and 2 F-15's, tails of SJ, and one other F-15.
There where also be some pyrotechnics for the A-10's and F-15E's.
"Anyone on base is welcome to come out and see the old warbirds, as well as
our newest fighter, the F-22A"
Just like previous years, they will have viewing area located in front of
Base Ops. The flight schedule begins at 12:15pm on the 3rd and ends at 5pm
on the 5th of March.
One special note from the Base Newspaper:
"Photos are allowed, however, there may be security requirements for the
F-22A." If this is anything like they treat us when we try to photograph
the F-117, we won't be able to photograph it on the ground. We'll have to
see :)
Here are some recommended frequencies, which are of course subject to
change, based upon the last two years' conferences at DM:

Hi All,
Caught this very interesting c/s this afternoon and was lucky enough to
visually see these guys. A flight of 4 F-4E's landed at DMA (253.5) at
about 4:00. It has been a long time since I have seen such a sight, they
were in a very tight formation until they made their break over
Davis-Monthan. It was great to see the old birds flying.
Shortly before their approach, a flight of 2 F-16's c/s Kermit made a low
approach and then headed to Gila Bend Range.
