It is Wed 3:41pm EDT (1941z).
A Delta 2 rocket carrying the Military's "Microsatellite Technology
Experiments (MITEX) will be launched from Pad 17A at Cape Canaveral AFS today. The
launch window is 5:33pm to 9:33pm EDT.
Moments ago I started hearing Range Clearance operations, including
"Variety" in comms with "Bat 1" on 141.3 (AM mode). Variety is the ETR Range Safety
Officer, and Bat 1 is one of the Airscan T-337 Skymasters that are based at
Space Coast RAP and are used for KSC security and range clearance missions.
"Bat 2" is also up, and is in comms with "Bat 1" and with "BatCave" on 123.475.
