Tony:

I agree.  Both Pace Airlines and Primaris Airlines have run press charters
in the past.  Most if not all have passed through Andrews.  I remember one
Pace Airlines flight that came back into Andrews after a press run and then
immediately repositioned to Dulles.

During the President's trip to South America a few months ago a United
Airlines 777 I believe made the trip under charter.

The Pace Airlines B734 (Boeing 737-400) is actually operated by Sports Jet
(under Pace's certificate) and usually handles sports teams and charters
where they want a nice comfortable airplane.

I'll have to question this statement.  Actually, most Presidential trip
press planes depart from ADW as opposed to IAD.  Just examine the included
historical report from Red1 for an illustration.

FYI, the press plane usually flies flies from/to Dulles, leaving an hour 
or so ahead of AF-1. Might be one leaving Waco Regional (KACT) early this 
afternoon as Dubya returns to DC. Friday's trip was to Seattle and 
Alberquerque, I think.
