[MilCom] Westover ARB Closure Update -- Security Issue

Update on Westover ARB Security Issue.

At 0930 hrs this morning, a 32 male from S. Hadley MA (who apparently had 
some mental health issues & was off his medication & is known to S. Hadley 
law enforcement officials) indicated that there might be "something" in his 
vehicle and to be very careful when searching it.  The individual is in 
custody of security police &

The base continues to closed (as of 1246 hrs local) with a corridon 
established around the vehicle including a partial closure of Westover Rd in 
Chicopee, MA.  The Mass State PD EOD/bomb team is assembled and they are 
awaiting the arrival of a standby ambulance as well as a fire truck before 
entry into the vehicle for explosives search.

News media is arriving and the PAO has been contacted.  Also some spectator 
traffic (not me) !!!
