See the story at:

Apparently the helicopter support for the lastest two incidents has been
provided by the Oregon Army National Guard's 1042 Air Ambulance Company,
based in McNary Field, Salem (OR), which fly UH60G helos.
Potential frequencies used per the IFR Supplement indicates: 40.90, 135.0,
241.6.
The article aboves states that the former 939th Rescue Wing, operating out
of the Portland Air Base, converted to an air refueling wing in April 2003.
Its HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters, equipped for combat search and rescue,
were shipped to Florida.
What's interesting is that there's a USAF Para Rescue Unit Operations
Officer (acting as command & control) from the 304 Rescue Squadron, out of
Portland OR, so it's unclear if the article above article is completely
correct. http://www.939arw.afrc.af.mil/units/

Anyone monitoring the activity today???
Too bad any of those climbers didn't have a simple Family Radio Service
(FRS) radio on channel 1 (462.5625 mhz), rather than depending upon a
cellphone for communications. Perhaps they could have talked with the s&r
people or even just transmitted in the blind!!!
