This is an excellent portable for milcom/milair monitoring AM/NFM.  It does 
not have digital receive capabilities.  It also has "signal stalker" 
capabilities for finding signals close by.   Most of us that have this 
portable find it to be a great radio for milair airshow "on scene" 
monitoring!
