Hi all!
You can watch the flight go into Logan on the Boston Passur site.
http://www4.passur.com/bos.html
Set parameters at 'August 16th 2006' with the time at '09 hours'
and '57 minutes' and 'speed' at 'normal' and 'map range' at '90 miles'
and then hit 'START' .
Watch the right edge of the map next to the 'Flight Information'
box and pay special attention to just to the left of the 'Aircraft
Type' line and put your cursor there. When the aircraft appears at that
point (about 8/16/2006 09:57:55 on the 'Date/Time line), click on the
plane and it will turn red and the 'Flight ID' box will
show 'UAL923'.
Note that there are no other aircraft in the immediate vicinity, i.e. a
fighter escort. This info is evidently stripped from the display. Not like
the good old days when they would show the B-2 doing the Fourth of July pass
up the Charles River and identify it as a 'general aviation' aircraft.
Regards, Ron
