Well Steve Douglass' column this month focuses on "Special Report:
Monitoring On The Edge Of A Nuclear Confrontation"
Of course Pop Comms front cover had the sensational words "Special Report:
Nuclear Nightmare In The Middle East?" with a picture of two crew members in
a KC 135 military aircraft. Surely a good hook at the news stands!

Basically the special reports ( 6 1/3 pages) looks at a possible nuclear
confrontation in the middle east amont Israel, Iran, & possibly the US...
Steve gives us a theory of what military operations may possibly happen --
Also some military weapons systems as well as radio communications
terminology is discussed... However, very little information is provided
regarding potential HF (or other) radio frequencies to monitor. Reader's HF
Logs were reduced to about 3/4 of a page in order for the report to be
published....

Consider purchasing the magazine, or just go to your local Barnes & Noble
store & sit on the bench & read it. Unlike 1 other hobby magazine it hasn't
been rapped in a plastic bag (yet) so you can still read it without having
to purchase it!
