This morning (20 Sept) on 123.225 MHz during the 0900-1100 EST
timeframe noted Northrop-Grumman's BAC 1-11 N164W in air-air ops with MADHOG
01. Based on audio characteristics MADHOG was a fighter type but
otherwise no identification.
While I've recently heard N-G aircraft working a track using
Martinsburg (WV) airport as the bullseye, can't confirm the location of this
morning's activity.
The aircraft cleared from 123.225 MHz at approx 1105 EST and N164W was
noted on 119.4 MHz (BWI tower) recovering at BWI at approx 1135 EST.
Wish I wasn't mobile during the entire timeframe as I missed quite a
bit of the activity.
Fred
