There is an area of distrubed weather in the SW Gulf of Mexico (Bay of
Campeche) that could form in the next 12 hours. According to Recco obs at
www.nhc.noaa.gov Teal 13 is AF304 (probably one of the new WC-130J aircraft
out of Keesler). They were scheduled to be in the area at around 2100 UTC
according to the Recco Plan of the Day. Will probably have them up at least
for a few hours more. Sounds like it hasn't made enough wind speed at flight
level yet to be classified as a TS (has to be at 39 knots).
Will be interesting to watch this area for the next few days. Keep an eye
out Jeff!! ;-)
