Yours is not the only one. I had my 396T with me
during the Stuart Air Show and could hear the A-10
demo pilot doing a PA feed and the plane was only
a few hundred feet away, and nothing. Also nothing
from the Air Boss trailer also a few hundred feet away.
But it did hit on the ATIS from across the field.
Even with the ATIS freq locked out I wonder if the
constant ATIS signal overpowered any other
nearby signals?
>From what I have observed the 396T sensitivity
is noticeably worse than my 250XLT.
