 Yes the Air Force is doing its best to re-sell re-tool the Raptor as a 
bomber now faced with threatened cuts as an Air-Air fighter.
 Guess the Brass thought it was too expensive to just dogfight with so trying 
to make it more useful.
 Hope they have success but we shall see.Sounds expensive to use as stealth 
bomber with only 1 JDAM per mission.
 Heck you could do more fire power with retooled F-15E as it is now and much 
cheaper.
