    No, I haven't been that close and unless you have reason to
    get into the CRTC, you probably won't.  The frequency you
    copied from my post is not one of the 22nd MEU's frequencies,
    but rather a CRTC frequency that they are using.  Likely the
    radios being used on the CRTC's frequencies are some of the
    CRTC's Motrola HTs (sorry, I don't know what model).

    I have heard references made to both the PRC-119 (Manpack
    SINGCARS radio) and the PRC-148 (MBITR) radios which
    are apparently the ones being used tactically.  So far I have
    not heard any of the ground unit's tactical traffic on VHF Low
    or High Band.
