[MilCom] Tour Pax Ship Covert Alerting Devices

Well, I've always wondered about passenger tour ships covertly alerting 
federal/military authorities in case of a terrorist and/or criminal type 
attack/incident.. People I've known that have taken these tours have also 
wondered about this (but most are not really that security aware)...  Of 
course I'm a land luber at heart & can't see myself on a cruise ship for 3 
to 10 days, but if it's your passion go for it!!!

Some research on the USCG sites indicates that a covert alert system has 
been installed on  pax tour ships..
