Hi all.
Thu 27th May.19:14z. 8992.0 was active with FLIP 98 working
ANDREWS.requesting P/P to dsn 315-366-xxx
and raising RED ops.
Reporting Hydrolics problems jet number 1 by the sound of it Simular problem
on FLIP 97 as well.
RED ops conferred with Charlie who was in the room.
as to a possible IFD,and which aircraft would land first.
Note the QSO was stepped on heavily by ELLMENDORF b/casting an EAM
(5KPWBS),which caused everyone to crackup, Hi Hi..further note sounded like
a busy ops room could hear what was going on in the back ground.
by the way, pilot of FLIP 98 when asked aircraft details by ANDREWS said
they were B-52s gave their posn 100 miles North of TAGUA sounded like but
would not reveal Tail Numbers.........Used UHF freq of 23.3400 within radio
range of TAGUA .
