I usually don't put this out on a Saturday but I had caught some comms
involved with the ADW and possibly DOV Air shows and I wanted to get this
out in case someone else might be able to get some use from it. These comms
are mixed in below with a couple of other freqs I worked today.

240.1
Was able to catch this one active at the same time as 120.05 at PAX. Was
able to confirm I had been getting a harmonic on this one. Don't see any
history of use in this area. I do see some use down in FLA., but no need to
even assume I am getting these comms from there as regularly as I am. I am
locking this freq out for now.

335.125
Unknown A/C with likely ATC. Odd transmission, sounded like I was hearing
groundside as there where lots of background voices. Was probably just
coming through his mike from the #2 radio.

251.2
Air show related
Flight of 5, possibly 6, using as interplane. Lead checking in regularly on
another freq with ADW AIRBOSS concerning start times. These guys sounded
like Prop Aircraft. They were working 2K - 3K pretty regularly. No C/S heard
except for MC (I assume Mission Commander and LEAD. These guys were on
station from roughly 11:35 AM until 13:21 PM. One of them was discussing
fact that he dropped 39, one had stayed onboard. I assume this was the 82nd
Airborne drop.

272.1
Air show related
Snow Birds using as Interplane. Gonna go ahead and tag as such

378.2
Apparent CORONET AR comms. Seemed to be a flight of 4 but I could not be
certain. But it definitely was AR work. The freq comes back a known CORONET
freq and I am tagging as such. For what it's worth, I had weak comms on them
from 12:02:23 until 12:05:53 EST

384.55
Brief comms, used as Interplane between unknown number of A/C. From old
MICOM posts I see this freq commonly used by the F-15 DEMO GROUP, and also
has been used by the Air Boss on occasion. The freq also comes back as
PISTOL 5 (38 & 45 + 5) which is a general purpose interplane freq commonly
used. I am gonna go ahead and tag this freq for the PISTOL 5 Freq but I am
going to keep it unlocked, at least through tomorrow to try to catch the
F-15s on it, if that was who it was.

275.35
Blue Angels doing the moves. Comes back as Blue Angels Diamond freq per
MILCOM logs. Good enough for me. Tagging as such and locking out.

358.9
A/C 556 reporting maintenance squawks to apparent OPS at 8500 ft 10 miles
north of Salisbury. #2 engine oil temp gauge was bad. Advising they might
want to fire up the back up bird. Said he would be back in NORFOLK in about
an hour. Freq comes back as possible VFA-82 CP, Also comes back as a preset
for VMGR-252. Not quite sure how to go with this one. If I had to make a
guess I would say VFA-82 but Not sure an A/C at 8500', 10 miles north of
Salisbury could reach their ops at that distance. Plus these guys said they
would higher on the way back to NORFOLK in about an hour. HMMMM. They said
they were going to take the Aircraft to the HOT PIT, evidently at wherever
their destination was and swap the bad gauge for a good one because they
suspected problem was the gauge and not the engine

Also, for what it's worth, this morning at 6AM "YAWN" I uploaded the freqs
that my search scanners found this week into the scanners, some of those are
listed above. This evening at 5PM I uploaded the freqs the search scanners
found today. Unfortunately, the way my set up is I can't not distinguish
which freqs I uploaded this morning from the ones I uploaded this evening so
they are all mixed together.

I already had a few of the freqs known to be used at Air shows identified
and locked out. I did not scan those today so I could focus on working freqs
that I did not have tagged.

Some of these freq that I uploaded today are likely associated with either
the ADW or DOV Air Show. I'll be recording on them tomorrow and try to
figure them out.
