<New Orleans - Saturday>

*09:00 CST

364.2 - (AWACS AICC) THUMPER (E-3 Sentry, 513th ACG) working LANCER 11 (I have several on my list, not sure which one). I pick up THUMPER clear, LANCER 11 is out of my range.

THUMPER gave his location as 60 miles east of KILO - PAPA - OSCAR - ECHO (KPOE)
which is Ft Polk Army Airfield. Freq 141.675 was given but nothing heard on it yet.

THUMPER advised he would send data to LANCER for location of vehicle convoy for air/ground engagement.

Others this morning:

340.2 - (NAS New Orleans Tower) EASY 41 (C-12/UC-35C EZ USMCR MASD) on app for runway 4, full stop.

296.5 - CG 6514 (HH-65B) called outbound with 3 POB (persons on board).
*this freq is normally used by JAZZ (159th FW/122d FS) F-15s. There has been a lot of freq swapping/sharing between JAZZ and VFA-204 F/A-18s (RIVER) over the past month.

Contacts from Friday:

358.2 - (CAESAR Air to Air) CAESAR 1 & 2, 159th FW F-15 CAP. CAESAR 1 referred to this freq as WATCHDOG OPS. Both were RTB from a CAP - location unknown. Not over New Orleans. CAESAR 1 was advised to be aware of a B-25 at his 9 o' clock enroute to Lakefront airport (It passed low over the house on final).

354.1 - (Houston Center?) STACY 64 & 67 direct Keesler AFB, MS

322.4 - (Houston Center, Mobile High) RAMA 12 (T-38 EN AETC 80 FTW SHEPPARD AFB, TX) >285.6 (Hou Cent, Hattiesburg High) at flt level 320.
