[MilCom] No Scanners at Barksdale

Hi group,

Just spoke with the public affairs folks at Barksdale about the May 10-11
airshow (T-birds, Snowbirds, GNs, etc).

They told me that cars will be checked at the gate for the usual security
risks.  I asked about scanners, and was told that they would not be allowed.

So sounds like leaving gadgets in the car is not an option.  Don't bring it on
the base.

Excuse me now while I go convert a Walkman to 143 Mhz.  :-)
