It has been pointed out to me a couple errors on the mid-month supplement I emailed earlier. The HollandARC E.A.T. meetings are moved to the 4th Tuesday, not Thursday. The date, April 23 was correct.

The Red Cross Smoke Alarm install is Friday, May 17, not 18

The following resend has been corrected.

RESEND/CORRECTED Events MID-MONTH SUPPLEMENT for the WM Amateur Radio community

Additions and updates to the events email sent for April on March 27.

HIGHWAY ROADSIDE CLEANUP on Hwy-57 / 14 Mile Rd, Thursday, April 18, 6PM, weather permitting.
Grand Rapids Amateur Radio Association (GRARA) in support of The American Red Cross and MDOT will be doing roadside trash pickup on M-57 between Ritchie Ave and Myers Lake Ave. Meet at the J&H Family Store / Mobil Station on the NE corner of M-57 Northland Dr, 1.5 miles East of US-131 expressway exit 101. Bags, grabbers, safety vests provided.

It should go without saying, all are welcome to pitch in. 8 volunteers or more would be ideal to provide a crew of 2 per ½ mile section. After, meet at a local watering hole.

CHANGE OF LOCATION
The Independent Repeater Association (IRA),  monthly board meetings fourth Thursday of the month, April 25, 6PM meeting location has been changed. This and future Board meetings will be at Russ’s Restaurant in Wyoming. Russ’s is located at 2340 28th St SW, Wyoming, MI 49519, South side just East of Byron Center Ave.

TULIP TIME PARADE communication volunteers via Tom K8TB
This year, like the past years, we have been asked by the Red Cross to 
supply medical communications for the Tulip Time Parades.
Wednesday, May 8,  we need 15 amateur radio operators
Thursday May 9, we need 15 amateur radio operators 
and the big parade on Saturday, May 11. For this one, we need 25 amateur radio operators
If you have volunteered in the past, and would like to again, please 
email me direct. If you would like the same spot, I will try to decipher 
my notes, but a reminder about your tactical unit number, or your 
location would help.

River Bank Run 2019 Communications , main event Saturday, May 11
CALLING ALL HAMS!!! 
#1) The JR Event, Wednesday, May 9, we’ll need about 15-20 People to help with. INFO TO BE DETERMINED due to construction
#2) The Main Event Which is on May 11th from 6AM - 1PM with varying end times. Pre-Meeting on Friday May 10th at KCSD 701 Ball Ave from 6:30PM - 8:30PM. (We need about 80-85 People to help with the main event in various positions) 
For those who have never worked the River Bank Run. This is the PREMIER Communications event in Kent County. This event is one that you'll enjoy and come back every year for more! The RBR event is HUGE and keeps growing!
