May events update.

This Friday, May 11, Red Cross smoke detector install. We provide communications support. Installs will be in the Godfrey neighborhood. Meet at the Grand Rapids Red Cross Building 8:30 AM. Contact Jim Leys, K8CAN, GRARA Red Cross Laison rc.laison at w8dc.org for more information

The Lowell Amateur Radio Club May meeting will be one week later than usual as many members will be at hamvention(r).
Meeting will be Thursday, May 24. The 17th will be Open Radio Room.

The Grand Rapids Amateur Radio Association June meeting will be at the Hudsonville Fair Grounds, Friday June 1, day before the IRA Hamfest. Meeting will take place following the traditional "Ray's Roadkill and Potluck Dinner" the IRA sponsors which all are invited. The potluck begins at 6:30.
