ALL HAMS
If anybody can help us please e mail or call Joe or Mark. Please pass this
on to all hams in western Michigan. Thanks Tom KB8VEE DEC 6

Greetings to all. I hope everyone is having a good summer. I am sending
this email on behalf of our event coordinator, Mark Derby, K8MHZ. We are
fast approaching what has become our largest public service event we work
each year. We are still in need of operators for Friday night, Saturday,
and Sunday (July 22,23,24). These positions consist of gate monitoring,
rovers, scribes for net control, logistics assistants, and Blue Angels Box
Security posts. We could use about 10 more people each day Saturday and
Sunday, and another 6 or so for Friday night. Saturday and Sunday shifts
begin at 6am and go until the show end. Friday shifts have a staggered
start. Any part or all of these hours covered would be helpful. This would
allow for much more efficient logistics coverage and full position staffing.
This years Air show workers are being treated to free passes for their
families, which includes a Chalet lunch provided. These bracelets would
normally go for around $50.

If you can work and are interested in any or all of the days, please
contact Mark Derby or myself. Contact information to follow. I thank all
of you for any assistance you may be able to give. 73'3
