    Everyone, we are in need of volunteers to work the September 16th county
wide disaster exercise.    To be part of it the county is requiring everyone
to go through the criminal history check that they require of all volunteers
/ emergency personnel.

    Because of the large need of radio operators we are opening it up to any
and all radio operators around the area who are able to participate.  To
participate review the information below and contact me directly at
6168897101 between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

    Why should you participate?  Because this exercise is going to be huge,
if emergency communications is of any interest to you this will get you
hooked.  Plus free lunch is always a plus.

Date: September 16th

Location: 5/3 Ball Park in Comstock Park (Kent County)

Times / Duration: 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM  - Exercise is to last no longer
then 4 hours but with lunch might take a bit longer

Radio Operators are requested to be at the Kent County Sheriffs department
no later then 730 AM for exercise information and equipment deployment.

Equipment needed: If you have a 2 meter / dual band hand held radio or a
portable VHF / UHF station (should be complete)..  If you do not have
anything we can issue you equipment.

Operational Frequency's:  Frequencies will issued at time of exercise

Communications Security / Confidentiality, do to the sensitive nature of the
operations all participants must understand all of the information gained
from participation in the exercise is not to be shared with anyone not
involved.
