Hello All,
I have an elderly Ham friend, N8XOQ, who has been given a 2M handheld that
belonged to an elderly Ham friend who is now SK. It is a Kenwood TH-215a. It
came with no manual.
The battery is new and is the correct one for this model. It is fully charged.
The display shows the frequency to be 144.000 MHZ. For whatever the reason,
programming the handheld has proven not doable thus far. However, without the
proper instructions, it may be nothing more complex than pressing a specific
function on the 215a before it will accept entered data.
Do any of you know how to operate or program this unit? Can I download a manual
for him somewhere, if so, where? if not, can I purchase a copy of the manual or
a new manual, if so, suggestions?
Thank you all.
