[MIham] Re Low Subscriber Count

This list, and all like it for the other states, seems to have a very low
subscriber count. I wonder why this is?	
	
It seems to me that such a statewide list for Hams and radio hobbyists to share
info on events, items for sale/swap and so forth on should be quite popular. Why
is it not? 	
	
Is it because there are other lists that do the same thing, so it is just
duplication of services?  	
	
Is it because the 'Ho Hum Syndrome' has afflicted Michigan hams?	
	
There are thousands of Hams in Michigan, and probably the majority of them do
have Internet service nowadays. yet the subscriber count on this list is almost
never higher than eighty.
