      To All Michigan Amateur Radio Club Secretaries and Officers,please
notify your members of this special event!

      This July 14th and 17th  The Michigan DX Association will activate the
Gerald R. Ford museum in Grand Rapids,MI using our special call K8F. Grand
Rapids,MI is the home town of President Ford and we will be doing a first
time  (on location) authorized activation of his presidential museum on his
birthday!

      Time of K8F operation: Both days-Wed July 14th his birthday and Sat
the 17th 10AM-5PM

      Frequencies: 21.370 - 14.249 - 7.262 - 3.902 - 146.550

      Join us in celebrating the Presidency of Gerald R. Ford from his
museum in his home town and state!  July 14th admission is FREE on his
birthday!  Bring the family but please use the Visitors parking lot,the
Staff parking lot is only for our station setup!
