[MIham] VENUS transit early tomorrow!

We haven't had any "red alerts" for space weather lately, but there is 
a great space weather event early tomorrow morning.. the transit of 
Venus!

Alas for us in the western half of the U.S, a rare transit of Venus 
will occur early tomorrow morning.  Here in Houston it ends just as the 
sun rises; those in the eastern US may see more of the event if they 
get up early.

but not to fear; live webcasts will be available, from several sources:

Exploratorium (giving live images from Athens, Greece):

10 - 11 pm PDT (11-12 MDT;  12-1 am CDT;  1-2 am EDT)
