On July 14th the SEOC Msys system 145.76 port will be converted to the New
Winlink 2000 computer system. This is so stations can upgrade their local
EOC's to the new format. Msys systems will not be able to directly connect
to the SEOC for forwarding. Connections to the SEOC Mail system will have
to
be made using the Master Winlink server at Wa1lrl. Station running forward
type bbs software can forward to one of the main systems that connect to the
SEOC on the 220 frequencies so messages may be sent to the SEOC Msys
system. This will allow traffic on 145.76 to be relayed to the SEOC on 220.

Stations wishing to upgrade to the new capability should contact WA1LRL for
software installation help and configuration for the network. The Paclink
software may be downloaded from the emergency page at www.winlink.org.

Ed may be reached at 313.477.2733 Please call at resonable times. Thanks.
You may also join the Winlink Conference every Wednesday evening at 8 PM Lo
cal time on the *W8FSM* Echolink conference. See you there.
