The Lowell Amateur Radio Club set it's sights high when it made the 145.27
repeater the multi-site machine that it is today.  We are forging ahead with
an equally positive agenda which includes the purchase of two items, a
better transmit amplifier for Lowell transmitter site, and radio service
monitor.  Since these items total about $16,000.00, we have asked for help
from the Lowell Community Fund.  They have responded with an offer to match
every donated dollar that we receive, up to $8000.  Now, we must turn to our
friends in the Amateur Radio community.



The purchase of this equipment will certainly strengthen the infrastructure
of Amateur Radio operations in our area.  The dollar for dollar match by
Lowell Community Fund will really add punch to your tax-deductible
contribution.  Please help, any amount will be greatly appreciated.
