Broadband itself shouldn't hurt HF, BPL or broadband over Power Lines is
the problem.
Is Comcast a cable tv co.? Most cable companies use the 2 meter band as
some of the "cable" channels fall into those frequencies, i.e.: cable
channels 14 and up? are in between tv channels 6 and 7. I don't know the
specific frequencies off the top of my head.
If you are hearing tv type noise on 2 meters then they have a leak in
their cable and somebody needs to tell them to get the leak fixed.
