The MiQP Committee is pleased to announce that the results from the 2003 
Michigan QSO Party are now available on the MiQP web page http://www.miqp.org.

The 2003 MiQP was a record setter in a number of ways.  Log submittals were 
up 69% and reported QSOs were up 27%.  New records were set in all in-state 
categories except for single-operator QRP, and 63 new in-state records were 
set at the county level.  All 83 Michigan counties were on the air during 
the contest.

MI Single Operator High Power - Dennis Ward, KT8X

MI Single Operator Low Power - Uli Ann, AB8QV

MI Single Operator QRP Power - Ken McGuire, KC8LTL

MI Multi-Operator - W8PIF (ops. AA9PB, K0SN, K8NB, NS9R, W9YQ, Jake Mans)

MI Mobile - K8CC/m (ops. K8CC, W8MJ)

Michigan Combined Club - Marinette & Menominee ARC

Out-State Single Operator (Eastern/Central) - Keith Pederson, WA3HAE

Out-State Single Operator (Mountain/Pacific) - Dale Bullard, NT6K

Out-State Combined Club - Florida Contest Group

Most Counties Worked From Out-State - Ethan Miller, K8GU

The MiQP committee congratulates these winners, as well as the certificate 
winners at the county and state level.  Certificates will be in the mail to 
the winners by December 1, 2003 and plaques by December 31, 2003.
