I am in need of someone sighted who can assist me with making the Easy CD
Creator, Platinum edition functional. I would like to copy some vinyl 33 1/3
albums to DAT and then to the rewriteable CD writer.
My difficulty is this:
Because I am totally blind, (and live alone), I use special screen reading
software to convert the GUI into a speakable format. This is with Windows 98a,
for the record. Hence, the screen is spoken to me through a hardware speech
synthesizer with a voice much like used by the NOAA.
Because every software program needs a configuration file to instruct the screen
reading software program; what to read on the CRT, where it is, when to read it,
what to ignore etc this configuration file must either be one of the ones
supplied with the screen reading software, JFW (JAWS For Windows 3.7), in this
case, or the user must create his/her own special configuration file for the
software application they desire to use. Because most blind users of computers
have narrow fields of interest and specific needs, only the most commonly used
software programs are addressed. Keeping in mind that the blind have very little
need for graphical programs and no screen reading program can work with them. A
picture is visual, end of story -
Hence, I need the guidance of somebody who has converted vinyl, or cassette
tape, to CD using the Easy CD Creator, Platinum edition. If you can assist me,
please contact me at:

I am good in qrz.com My location is in Flint, MI.
Thank you in advance.
