I just wanted to share my weekend experience with everyone. I spent the
weekend in Lexington Kentucky at the Kentucky State Convention and attended
A Great Lakes Division meeting between the Section Managers of Ohio and
Kentucky, our new Director Gary Johnston KI4LA and our new Vice Director
Dick W8FQT
I had a chance to meet Gary and chat with him one on one. I was very
impressed and really think he will do a great job for us. Watching the
interaction between Dick and Gary was exceptional. It was like the 2 of
them had worked together for years.
I was also impressed as to how the Division on a whole works together. I
was greeted with open arms and had a great conversation with the Ohio and
Kentucky Section Managers who both offered their services to me if I ever
needed anything. It was really great to see how this Division works on a
team work concept !
With the Great Lakes Director and Vice Director elections approaching, I
felt it was important to share my experience with all of you and let you
know I have given my FULL support to Gary and Dick and will continue to
support them throughout the rest of my term.
