Hi folks,
I wonder if there are any spectrum analyser experts on this reflector?
I have recently acquired a used spectrum analyser, model 8591A from
HP/Agilent. It is running on firmware version F (17.7.91) and covers 9
kHz-1,8 GHz. It is in good shape but unfortunately lacking a Tracking
Generator (50 Ohms, option 010). Does anybody know if such option might be
available surplus? Were shall I look for it? May I install this option
myself? Or will any software upgrades be necessary as well?
On the rear there is a note on an internal battery: The battery was
installed in 1992 and apparently never replaced. What type and model of
battery is this? What is it good for? Where is it located? Can I replace it
myself?
