[Meteor-Scatter] Random Working on FSK-MS...

Hello Bernd. Your findings are in agreement with mine. Having multiple
stations calling at the same time does not usually result in any problems.
When I have HSMS skeds for a VHF contest, I usually run for 30 minutes. I
tell my sked partners to start calling me at the scheculed start time even
if they can hear that I have not completed with my previous sked. That way
I will often already have calls when I finish with the previous sked and can
go right into sending the calls and report (our contact format being a
little different than yours).

Similarly when sharing the HSMS calling frequency, it usually is no problem
if two or more fairly local stations are calling CQ at the same time. Dx
stations will usually hear them all on different pings (or different dx
stations will hear different stations on the same ping), due to the
different distances and directions involved. Of course it is essential to
use an up/down frequency offset when calling cq because it can get very
confusing if several QSO's are taking place on one frequency.

In my experience most newcomers are reluctant to call CQ "on top of" another
local on HSMS. This is understandable since we cannot do this in normal VHF
situations without causing QRM, but for HSMS it works very well. For that
reason it is good to post information like this to help them up the learning
curve.
