[Meteor-Scatter] Random Working on FSK-MS...

Hello All,

I'm afraid I'm starting a controversial thread now how to proceed on
Random in FSK441 but I'd just like to communicate some experiences from
my recent (family holiday!) activities from IN77UW in August.

To sum it up: It was very helpful that some stations called into QSOs in
progress but close to being completed, for example, when I was sending
a R-Report. As long as the QTH of those "callers" would not be less
than let's say 100 km from the QTH of the station I was working it
didn't interfere because not the same reflexions were used.

So while sending my R-Report and waiting for the Rs of my partner I
became aware that for example DL1ABC was calling me already. In this
case it's very important that DL1ABC is not just calling me with
callsigns only but with a report already, such as "F/DF2ZC DL1ABC 26
26".

Of course this applies only if he has indeed copied me. If he did not
copy me at all then he should not even think of calling me.

Then after receiving the expected RRRs from my QSO-Partner I would
immediately switch over to sending "DL1ABC F/DF2ZC R27 R27" or so. This
speeds up the whole QSO process as you can imagine. And it is of course
all according to the rules.

I repeat: I didn't feel like I was having trouble with multiple signals
on my rx frequency - as long as the stations were not geometrically
close to my current QSO-Partner. Instead, I was in a position to make a
list of stations calling me which I could reply one after the other
without timeconsuming CQs again. One important condition is that the
stations stay on freqency and continue listening for me coming back to
them.

I will be in JM87BX hopefully on 23 October this year for very few hours
starting at local sunrise with 100 watts, a 9 ele Tonna and good
take-off to North (as checked by DH7FB earlier this year), Random only.
I will tx on .361 1st seq and I will listen between .363 and .368.

Travelling some 500-600 km in total from my holiday QTH in JM89AD it's
not surprising I want to make as many QSOs as possible to give the rare
square. So don't hesitate to call me for some (not permanently)
sequences if you copy me sending a R-report. AND THEN STAY ON FREQUENCY
LISTENING! You may assume I quickly copy you and you are on my list
then.

If I send a R-Report and receive RRRs I will NOT reply them with my own
RRRs (which is not necessary according to the rules) but continue with
the next station or call CQ. When I receive a R-report and reply with
RRRs I will of course stay tuned until I have received RRRs.

I will try to communicate all complete QSOs immediately via DX Cluster,
by myself from down there or by telephone QSP to a friend.

CU!
