Hi All,

Some more recent news from the ZA crew:
They have an unofficial license (nothing written yet) but there is no reason
at all to think the written license will not be issued.
Tomorrow, saturday will be antenna construction day, and FIRST activities
are to be expected on SUNDAY May 23 in the morning. (unless some Es shows
up)

Activities will start with MS and move to EME as soon as the moon is up.
NO SKEDS YET !!!
Frequency will be announced tomorrow, there are some local birdies but they
want to listen with the EME array before any decisions are made.

Activities on EME will be CW ONLY until tuesday May 25th.

Main reason for this is a problem that has occurred with the JT65 protocol
and their ZA/ callsigns.
The JT65 protocol is having some encoding/decoding problems with such
callsigns.
The crew is trying to find a solution, we have discussed a good one but they
need some talks with the authorities for that...

No more news for now,
vy 73 from PA2CHR and PE1LWT,
