HSCW v FSK441
With due respects to all but there is a hug difference in operating skills
and commitment need in making a qso in both of these modes, WSJT is a
"making a cup of coffee" mode, U have virtually nothing to do including
decoding the messages, it requires a limited amount of skill, even I can use
it.......Hscw with on the other hand, first of all you need to be able to
decode CW pickout, highlight & manually slow down and decode the messages
yourself, look at the messages, see here
http://www.qsl.net/ei5fk/perseids.html try them out yourself if you haven't
used WINMSDSP2000 by 9A4GL before.
Wsjt is a useful mode for sure and an easy way to work new squares, along
with HSCW both these modes have done a lot to reverse the serious decline
that was evident on the VHF bands
We are to be thankful to both 9A4GL and K1JT
