Got a nice VHF Web Site and would like to have this site listed at dmoz
- the open project search engine?
I'm the editor of sub categories VHF, Meteorscatter, 50 MHz and
Moonbounce since June 1999 and if you would like to see your site
listed here just fill out the form here:

http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/add.cgi?where=Recreation/Radio/Amateur/VHF

and add your URL. You will be listed soon. Please don't reply to this
mail with your URL and site description cause it takes too long
to get the whole stuff copied from/to...

Check out who's already in or not here:

http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Radio/Amateur/VHF/

Now what is dmoz all about?

Egnies using dmoz data: Google, Netscape, Dictionary.com, HotBot,
Dogpile, Lycos, Linux.com, MetaPro, NetFinder USA, TopFile.com,
Netoo!, AltaVista, Excite, etc.

About the Open Directory Project
As the web grows, automated search engines and directories with small
editorial staffs will be unable to cope with the volume of sites. The
Open Directory Project's goal is to produce the most comprehensive
directory of the web, by relying on a vast army of volunteer editors.
    The Internet Brain
The web continues to grow at staggering rates. Automated search engines
are increasingly unable to turn up useful results to search queries. The
small paid editorial staffs at commercial directory sites can't keep up
with submissions, and the quality and comprehensiveness of their
directories has suffered. Link rot is setting in and they can't keep
pace with the growth of the
Internet.
    The Republic of the Web
Instead of fighting the explosive growth of the Internet, the Open
Directory provides the means for the Internet to organize itself.
As the Internet grows, so do the number of net-citizens. These citizens
can each organize a small portion of the web and present it back to the
rest of the population, culling out the bad and useless and keeping only
the best content.
    This Isn't a Talk Show
Usenet has its share of experts and good information, but you have to be
an expert yourself to tell the good from the bad.The Open Directory is a
self-regulating republic where experts can collect their
recommendations, without including noise and misinformation.
    You Can Make a Difference
Like any community, you get what you give. The Open Directory provides
the opportunity for everyone to contribute. Signing up is easy: choose a
topic you know something about and join. Editing categories is a snap.
We have a comprehensive set of tools for adding, deleting, and updating
links in seconds. For just a few minutes of your time you can help make
the Web a better place, and be recognized as an expert on your chosen
topic.
