[Meteor-Scatter] LA0BY/p - JO49ML - Perseids 2002

>From August 11 to 13 LA0BY and DL3YEL (perhaps also others) will operate 144
MHz MS from JO49ML. The location will be the Lifjell cottage site at about
800 m asl, which offers excellent take-off from 90-280�. With two or more
operators we should be QRV almost any time. On 2m we will use the callsign
LA0BY/p, but in case we should operate also 6 m it will be LA/DL3YEL there.

We will use 144,188 MHz for both CW and SSB (this is a new frequency
compared to previous Perseid acitivities!), and transmit in the second
period. Will work random SSB probably from noon on August 12 to the early
morning on 13, otherwise HSCW at 1500 lpm (can receive up to 3000 lpm). We
may take skeds for the night from August 11/12 and for the morning of August
13, requests please to LA0BY.

There is a chance that we may stay one more day for the 70 cm NAC and
perhaps more MS. We should be able to work into SP/DL/PA on Tropo.
