Hello folks,
here is my result fom this year's perseids. I think it was one of the weaker
ones
though I made a good number of QSOs. I could not detect a maximum.
With OH8K I seem to have had bad luck again, just like last year. The day
before
the conds seem to have been much better but when my sked came: just few weak
pings,
similar experience with SM/PA3BIY and RW3PF in the HSCW sked. Though,
depending on
the reflections I produced at the partner station, in FSK441 we might have
completed.
I spent nearly all my time on Random FSK441, which I prefer to Random SSB
because
the MS procedures are kept much better: Sadly, most of the SSB Random QSOs
are not
quite correct as many stations call with only their own call-sign and
report, never
say the other station's callsign...
I only wished for a better FSK441 random procedure which not only
centralizes all
traffic on .370, and sometimes I had wished for shorter sequences periods
;-)

*) Just for fun I transmitted only with 50 watts: 5 minute QSO.
CLD: UT5DX, RZ3AF, SM3JLA
HRD: Uncountable...vy strong sigs from RU1AA (as usual) and SM3JLA, also
copied
well RA3DQ and even heard RN6BN(!), who is 2465 km. We need a sked in
Leonids!
