Hello Rock-Hunters,

Soon, very soon we will start MS season. And "magic" 144370.0 frequency
will be overcrowded for sure. And on the other hand if you are not on .370 -
you need to notice this in the cluster...
I think we need to start a discusion what we will do in this situation.
Perhaps
there is a reson to create similar "letter system" as we are using in HSCW.
This could help us (I hope). And to ask peoples to use it for random QSOs.
The only question what space between channels we could use to prevent
interferences as much as possible? 1, 2 or 3 kHz?
Of course we need to keep in minde that highest frequency for WSJT
could be .398 . In this case:
-if we will use equil letter system like in HSCW - last frequency will be
.396 and we will have 26 channels; but will have big possibility for
interferences.
- if we will use 2 kHz spacing - we will have 14 channels and each letter
will mean step of 2 kHz; lower interferences, but a bit confusion for peoples,
who are QRV both HSCW and WSJT.
-if we will use 3 kHz spacing - interferences will go more-less to nil, but
we will have only 9 channels and same confusion for "bothmoders".

The situation we have today is wild enough I think. I like random operation
both HSCW and WSJT. But it would be fine to have an order in WSJT as
well as we have in HSCW.

Any ideas or suggesions?

Thanks for reading this message.
