[MDC-EC] FSD-212 Reports & All-Digital Test

Hi folks;

Your FSD-212 monthly reports for January are due. Please try to get  
your report to me by noon on Sunday 7-Feb. This is a great way to get  
the word out about your ARES team and all the cool things your team is  
doing. Please be sure to include FSD-212 in the subject line of your  
email so that the spam filters will allow your email to go through.

Also - stay tuned for news about an all-digital communications test  
being planned for late April. Modes will include MT-63, PSK-31,  
Olivia, EasyPal, Packet, etc. on both the HF and VHF/UHF bands. It's  
being designed to encourage casual operators and beginners to  
participate, as well as seasoned ARES communicators. We'll have  
several training sessions to allow people to get their radios,  
computers, and software set up.
