Gentleman,
It is with great sadness that I report that Frank Rodski, K3MTT is a Silent Key. Frank was an active member of the McHUG reflector and was at the balloon launching event at Pat's a few Sundays ago. He was the one who got me back into ham radio after I had been dormant for a number of years. And that was through old tube radios. In fact, he had fixed a tube radio that had belonged to Cindy's uncle. That radio will now have a special place on the wall along with a number of other tube rigs in my Museum/library room. Frank was the one who got me to join the CCARC as well as the ham club at SSA.
I will miss him.
What follows is the note I received from his son.
Rich
Everyone,
With great sadness, I must tell you that our father Frank Rodski
Sr. passed away early this morning. He enjoying a cruise touring the
Caribbean with our mother Sandy, and his cousins.
Chris and I are flying down to Florida this evening to meet Mom at
the ship when it docks tomorrow morning. We do not have many details at
this time, but I have started a web page at www.rodski.net to keep
family and friends up to date with the arrangements. I do not expect to
update it again until Sunday evening.
