[McHUG] Hamfest Seminar and Club Meeting

Hi Rich et al.
Sorry to have missed the presentation. I wanted to attend and am glad I may
get a second chance at the meeting. All of a sudden we became short of
help, (hopefully everyone went to the seminar) and that left me with a
dilemma considering I needed to be back in Eldersburg for Sandie's Birthday.
So I did ticket announcements etc. for awhile and then had to hit the
streets.

Subject: [McHUG] Hamfest Seminar and Club Meeting

McHUGgers,

We had a pretty good seminar at the hamfest yesterday. Three of us gave
presentations and we gave out 19 BBB/P4 sets along with a CD filled with
Arduino goodies - including the latest IDE.

It seems that the club to which many of us belong, Carroll County Amateur
Radio Club, wants us to present to them at the November meeting (Monday
November 10, 7:30 PM ). Since we have way more than enough material for one
presentation perhaps we could do two. At the November meeting we could do
the basic how to program with the Arduino environment along with a "what's
on the CD" presentation. And at the next meeting (January) have a "what I
have done with microcontrollers" session. And maybe get additional material
from those who have gotten their Arduinos up and running from the November
meeting. just a thought.

I have 5 kits (24 - 19) remaining that we could give away at the November
meeting. Since several in the club already have the kits, that may be
enough.

Rich, N3III
