Bruce is back.  He checked in on the weather net this morning.

I've gotten several printed plates by this point and all are aluminum.
It's just that rather than embossing the characters they and the
background are printed.  It supposedly makes it fairly trivial to change
plate designs and is cheaper.  Supposedly.

The new four digit with three letter tags still throw me off.  My mind
says "dealer tag"!
